This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Order No 2.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State- Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "(i) To direct the Respondents to convene review DPC immediately in order to antedate the promotion of the Applicant from the date when his juniors have been got promotion to the post of Senior Assistant/Assistant Section Officer and Section Officer.

(ii) To direct the Respondents to fix the seniority of the Applicant above his juniors in the rank of Senior Assistant / Assistant Section Officer and Section Officer.

(iii) To direct the Respondents to finalize the provisional gradation list of Senior Assistant / Assistant Section Officer and Section Officer before further promotion to the post of Desk Officer.

(iv) And pass such order / orders as may be deemed fit and proper for the interest of justice".

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Petitioner is directed to make fresh representation before the Opposite Party No.2 by enclosing all the relevant documents and citations in support of his claim, if any, within a period of two (2) weeks hence.

It is observed that if such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the Opposite Party No.2 shall do well to dispose of the representation in accordance with law within a period of 2 (two) months. The decision so taken by the Opposite Party No.2 be communicated to the Petitioner within that time.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
