This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Parties-State.
3. The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) To direct the Respondents to give Notional promotion of the post of commandant to the Applicant from the date of his entitlement with retrospective effect with all other financial benefit.
(ii) To direct the Respondents to extend all financial benefit to the Applicant within a short time period. (iii) To pass any other order / orders and to grant any other relief / reliefs as this Hon'ble Tribunal deems fit and proper".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 10.04.2013 at Annexure-6 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been
// 2 // done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
