ORDER(Oral) 15.7.2022 01 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 22.12.2021 after the Original Application was transferred upon abolition of the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack.

3. On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal it is indicated that the O.A. was taken up by the learned Tribunal on 11.2.2016 and 28.10.2016 and on both dates none appeared for the applicant/petitioner.

4. The O.A. was filed in the year 2015 by the applicant before the learned Tribunal who was then working as Revenue Inspector, Ekalapur R.I. Circle, Surada, Ganjam seeking grant of service benefits w.e.f. 18.4.2012 instead of 23.5.2014 that was granted to the applicant.,

5. It is submitted by learned Standing Counsel referring to the averments in the writ petition as well as Annexures that considering the nature of grievance raised in the writ petition, i.e., selection process initiated by the Collector, Ganjam-O.P. No.2 by advertisement dated 9.12.2011, nothing would survive at present for consideration by this Court.

7. It is further submitted that respective rights of the other candidates who were selected have also crystalised in the

meantime and in view of this fact, writ petition is liable to be disposed of.

8. Having heard learned Standing Counsel, for lack of prosecution on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of.
