Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

Considering the nature of accusations and the existence of materials prima facie in support thereof, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. However, it is directed that the Court in seisin over the matter shall do well to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
