1. Challenging the notification of promotion dated 12th April, 2016 at Annexure-5, the Petitioner alleges that since the promotions have been made on the basis of defective gradation list, the Petitioner was not given due consideration.

2. At the time of hearing today, Mr. S.K. Lenka, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition as the cause of action does not survive.

3. In view of such submission, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
