This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State- Opposite Parties.

3. The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) To direct the Respondents to allow the applicants the revised pay scale of Rs.1320/- to 2040/- (pre-revised) which corresponds to 400006000/- (revised) with effect from dated 1.1.1996 with all arrears and other benefits.

(ii) To direct the Respondents to allow the applicants the revised pay scale of Rs.4000-6000/- which corresponds to the PB of Rs.5200 to 20200/- @ grade of Rs.2800 (revised) with effect from dated 1.1.2006 with all arrears and other benefits.

(iii) And pass such other order / orders as may be deemed fit and proper for the interest of justice". 4.

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on

// 2 // 20.01.2015 at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
