1. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. A memo filed by the petitioner for withdrawal of the petition in Court today. The same be kept on record.
3. The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 23.12.2021, after the Original Application was transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition.
4. On perusal of the available order-sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that notices were issued by the learned Tribunal on 12.01.2016 and the following interim order was passed :
"Pendency of this O.A. shall not bar for the respondent authorities to consider the appointment of the applicant keeping in view his position in the panel as referred to in the O.A."
Thereafter, the matter was not taken up/pursued. Counter filed by opposite party no.2-Director of Fisheries dated 09.02.2017 is available on record.
5. The Original Application was filed by the applicant before the learned Tribunal in the year 2015, challenging the
// 2 // advertisement dated 31.10.2015 (Annexure-8) issued by opposite party no.4 for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil).
6. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. ( M.S.Sahoo) Judge Gs
