This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.208 of 2016 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No.208 of 2016. 3.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that having applied clarification dated 20.01.2014 issued by the Finance Department erroneously, the entitlement to the Revised Assured Career Progression Scheme has been denied. 4.

It is submitted that the Petitioner as is transparent from the Petition that he has got promotion to Senior Clerk from Junior Clerk vide order dated 6.5.2011. Since Revised Assured Career Progression Scheme has come w.e.f. 01.01.2013, on completion of ten years of service in the entry grade, the Petitioner claims to be entitled to first up-gradation under Revised Assured Career Progression.

Mr. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that the Petitioner is not entitled to the Revised Assured Career Progression as claimed by the Petitioner in

// 2 // view of the fact that there is a promotional post available from the Senior Clerk to Junior Accountant.

In view of such submission, the Petitioner is held to be not entitled to Revised Assured Career Progression Scheme as claimed.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.
