This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard Mr. G.R. Sethi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.S. Kanungo, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State. 3.

This WPC(OAPC) has been filed to quash the order of punishment dated 31.07.2013 inflicted vide Annexure- 3. 4.

It is submitted by Mr. G.R. Sethi, learned counsel for the petitioner that, against the order of punishment, the petitioner has filed appeal before the I.G. of Police, Eastern Range, Balasore- Opp. Party No.1 and according to his instruction, that appeal has not yet been disposed of.

Regard being had to such facts and submissions, the I.G. of Police, Eastern Range, Balasore- Opp. Party No.1 is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law,

by passing a reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this Order. 6.

The petitioner is directed to supply a copy of this order along with copy of the WPC(OAPC) containing all the annexurs to Opp. Party No.1 for convenience & reference to Annexures- 3 & 4. 7.

The WPC(OAPC) is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this Order be granted as per rules. ...............................
