1.This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Heard.

3. In the present Writ Petition, the petitioners are empanelled Diploma Engineer (Civil) bearing the Serial No. 217, 229, 233, 242, 244, 248, 249 & 255. It is submitted that empanelled Diploma Engineers upto the serial No. 194 from the Panel are engaged in existing vacancy since March 2014.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the appointment of Junior Engineer from the Panel has been discontinued by the Government from 31.03.2014. Hence, cause of action raised in this Writ Petition does not survive.

5. In such view of the submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
