1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. This matter has been transferred to this Court after abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack.

3. The petitioner applied pursuant to the advertisement dated 11.05.2013 for appointment of contract teacher in Government Junior and Senior Madrasa, Binjharpur.

4. The petitioner challenged the eligibility criteria prescribed under Clause (c) of para-2 of the said advertisement in respect of educational qualification of Fazil-E-Urdu along with Fazil-E-Hadith from Odisha State Board of Madrasa Education on the ground that the subject being taught in Government Junior and Senior Madrasa, Binjharpur are covered within the course prescribed Fazil-E-Hadith, which he passed. So, according to him, the fixation of Fazil-E-Urdu as also the qualification for engagement as contract teacher in Government Junior and Senior Madrasa, Binjharpur as per the advertisement is liable to be quashed and the candidates with

// 2 // qualification of Fazil-E-Hadith be considered revising the provisional merit list.

4. Since the advertisement was of the year, 2013-14, the cause of action survives no more. Hence, the WPC (OAC) is disposed of as infructuous.

5. The petitioner is free to approach this Court, if any cause of action survives.
