The matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr. J. Kamila, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the Petitioner Basanta Rout in connection with Soso P.S. Case No.101 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No.91 of 2019 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Keonjhar for alleged commission of offence under Sections 376(3) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act. 4.
It is submitted that in the meantime investigation being completed charge-sheet has been submitted for the offences under Sections 323/341/376(2)(m) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

After hearing learned counsel for the State and considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and the
circumstances narrated by her, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. 7.
However, as prayed on behalf of the Petitioner, learned trial court is directed to take expeditious steps for early completion of trial. 8.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.514 dated 7th January, 2022.
