Heard Mr. R.K. Bisoi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State Opposite Parties. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the memorandum of charges under Annexure-1 and further to issue direction to the opposite parties to regularize the period of suspension as duty pay and also sanction increments w.e.f. 2015 onwards within a stipulated period.

Mr. R.K. Bisoi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that pursuant to memorandum of charges under Annexure-1, a proceeding has been initiated against the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner seeks direction to the authority to conclude the proceeding initiated against him, to which learned Additional Government Advocate has no objection. 5.

In view of the above, this Court directs opposite party no.2

to conclude the proceeding initiated against the petitioner, pursuant to memorandum of charges issued under Annexure-1 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production/communication of this order. 6.

With the above observation & direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
