Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Instant I.A. is filed for extension of time for the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below on the ground stated. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a communication gap between the local counsel and the petitioners and therefore, the latter could not surrender within the time stipulated, hence, therefore, extension is presently sought for. 4.
Objection of Mr. Behera, learned ASC for the State is recorded. Notwithstanding, the delay of more than one year, considering the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and reason shown for the alleged default, the Court is of the considered view that the petitioners should be directed to surrender before the learned court below immediately within the extended period. 5.
Hence, it is ordered.

In the result, IA stands allowed with a direction to the petitioners to surrender before the court of learned J.M.F.C., Jajpur Road in connection with C.T. Case No.238 of 2021 corresponding to Korei P.S. Case No.53 of 2021 on or before 29th February, 2024. It is made clear that no further extension shall be allowed in future. 7.
