01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. M.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. M.K. Balabantaray, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present writ Petition with the following prayer:- "In the given facts and circumstance of the case, it is humbly prayed that this original application be allowed with following reliefs:- (A) Necessary order/orders be passed directing the respondents, particularly Respondent No. 1 and 2 to appoint the applicant as Jr. Lecturer in respect of existing vacancies (two posts of lecturer in Botany, if necessary by issuing further direction to the Opp. Party No. 3 to sponsor the name out of the existing merit list. (B) Or in alternative any other appropriate direction/directions be issued so as to give complete

// 2 // relief to the applicant as deemed fit and proper by this Hon'ble Tribunal."

4. It is submitted that as the selected candidates did not join in the post, the Petitioner being the next candidate in the said select list is entitled to get an opportunity.

5. In view of such submission made by Mr. Sahoo, this Court while disposing the writ Petition, permits the Petitioner to approach O.P. No. 1 by making a detailed representation in that regard.

6. It is observed that if the said representation is moved before O.P. No. 1 within a period of two (2) weeks from today, the said Authority shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of two (2) months and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioner.
