Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner is aggrieved by the non-finalization of the disciplinary proceeding initiated against him. 4.

It is submitted that earlier challenging the order of punishment passed by the disciplinary authority and confirmed by the appellate authority, the Petitioner approached the learned Tribunal in O.A. No.1278 of 2008. Learned Tribunal while disposing the matter vide order dated 10.04.2015 was pleased to quash both the orders and remanded the matter to the disciplinary authority for fresh disposal from the stage of submissioin of the enquiry report.

It is submitted that as per the said order of learned Tribunal, direction was issued to the concerned authority to conclude the proceeding within a period of six months, on such remand.

It is submitted that till date the proceeding has not yet been finalized and the petitioner though has retired since October, 2011, he is yet to be released with the retiral benefits.

In that view of the matter, this Court while disposing the Writ petition directs the Opposite Party No.1 to conclude the said proceeding as directed by the learned Tribunal in its order dated 10.04.2015 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order, if it has not yet been disposed of. Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the order on Opposite Party No.1 within a period of seven days from today and Opposite party No.1 is directed to act on the same and proceed accordingly.
