2. Heard Mr. C.S. Panda, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. M.K. Balabantaray, learned counsel for the StateOpp. Parties.

3. This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order of suspension passed by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Kendu Leaves, Odisha under Annexure-5.

4. It is the contention of the Petitioner that the said authority i.e. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Kendu Leaves, Odisha is not competent to pass order of suspension.

But the Petitioner has described himself in the cause title as Range Officer working in Bhatili (KL) Division.

6. In view of the admission made by the petitioner that he is working in Kendu Leaf Divison, Bhatli, the challenge made to the order of suspension on the ground that Opp. Party No.3 is not competent to pass the order is not acceptable.

7. Not only that, the petitioner has already retired in the meantime and nothing remains to be decided in the Writ Petition.

8. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
