Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) The Hon'ble Tribunal be pleased to allow the original application and issue necessary direction to the respondents to pay all financial benefit on correct re-fixation of pay of the applicant for retrospective promotion w.e.f 09/10/74 in the cadre post of Junior SES and to pay the differential amount w.e.f 01/12.81 after fixation of his pay notionally for the period of creation of supernumerary post for retrospective effect promotion to the cadre post of Junior SES i.e. from 09/10/74 to 30/11/81 with all pecuniary and service benefits by considering the representation under Anenxure-4 as per Annexure-5 & 6 immediately within a time limit to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Tribunal. And the Hon'ble Tribunal is pleased to pass such other Order / Orders as it deemed fit and proper in facts and circumstances of this case".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation
// 2 // on 26.12.2015 under Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
