This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 1269 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No. 1269 of 2016.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 4.

In the writ petition, the Petitioner prayed for a direction to the Government to ante-date the order of promotion to Senior Secondary Education Service (SES) of the Petitioner to 8th November, 2011 i.e., the date on which his immediate junior, namely, Manjubala Khandual (Opposite Party No.4) was promoted to Sr.SEC. The Petitioner also prayed for consequential service and financial benefits by modifying the gradation list placing his name above Opposite Party No.4 in the said list.

Mr. R.N. Acharya, Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education submitted that in the mean-time, the relief
