The petitioner has challenged the order dated 18th January, 2016 passed by the Opposite Party No.2Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development Department, Govt. of Odisha and he has also challenged the promotion of the Opposite Party No.5-Anusaya Pattnaik working as Superintendent (Level-II) to the post of Superintendent (Level-II).

At the time of hearing, Mr. Laxmikanta Tripathy, learned proxy counsel on behalf of Dr. J.K. Lenka, Advocate submitted a memo in Court today stating therein that this matter has rendered infructuous as the Petitioner in the meantime got retired from service. The memo filed be kept on record.

In view of the aforesaid memo filed, this writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
