2. None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called.

3. None had appeared for the petitioner when the matter was taken up on 21.2.2022.

4. On 21.2.2022 after considering the matter in some detail, following order was passed :

"This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

None appears for the petitioner.

The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 6th August, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar upon its abolition.

On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was never taken up after 06.03.2012.

The original application was filed before the learned Tribunal claiming retrospective seniority and consequential promotion after giving him the proper position in inter se seniority at the level of Asst. Labour Officer.

Advocate that the applicant was aged about 53 years when the original application was filed in 2012 and after 10 years, nothing would survive for determination.

To grant another opportunity to the petitioner, list on 4th April, 2022."

5. Learned Standing Counsel reiterates the submissions on behalf of the State as indicated in the order dated 21.2.2022.

6. Having heard learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
