This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.
(Virtual/Physical Mode).

None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. Heard learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.

Learned Standing Counsel for the School submits that the present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider the case of the Petitioner for his reinstatement in service invoking the power envisaged under Rule 12(5) of the OCS (CC&A) Act, 1962. He further submits that by now the Petitioner must have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

On further examination of the Original Application, this Court finds that the Petitioner was aged about 57 years at the time of filing the O.A. in the year 2013.

In such view of the matter, this Court observes that no effective relief can be granted to the Petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. 6.
