This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.53 2012 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Odisha, Bhubanswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OA) No.53 of 2012.

None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. 4.

Mr. D.R. Mohapatra, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the School & Mass Education submits that the petition has become infructuous.

It is the claim of the Petitioner that she was initially appointed as Hindi Teacher in Malandpur UP (ME) School on 28.2.1989.

Though she served as such, her case for absorption/appointment as Hindi Teacher against 3rd post of Asst. P.T.O.

// 2 // Teacher has not been considered. It is stated that the applicant has submitted representation before the Competent Authority. 6 .

By filing counter, the Opposite Party No. 3-District Inspector of Schools, now redesignated as BEO, states that the Petitioner/Applicant was appointed as Hindi Teacher against a nonsanctioned post even after the School was being taken over by the Govt. with effect from 1.4.1991.

This petition has been filed in 2012 and it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel Mr. Mohapatra that due to long pendency of the case, the matter has been rendered infructuous. 8.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to revive the same within 90 days from today, if any cause of action still survives. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
