This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The writ petition has been renumbered and registered before this Court on 13.12.2021 after being transferred, upon abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack.

On perusal of the available order-sheet of the learned Tribunal, it is found that the matter was never takenup/pursued after 14.01.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no up-to-date instruction from the petitioner to pursue the litigation at present.

The original application was filed in the year 2014 by the petitioner, who was working as Regular Primary School Teacher in Bijigol Nodal U.P.School, Kaniha, in the district of Angul challenging the advertisement for recruitment to the post of Odisha Education Service-II (School Branch) Group-B not granting any age relaxation to the upper age limit in respect of in-service candidates.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the opposite parties that the issue involved is a challenge to a selection

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of due to lack of up-to-date instructions from the petitioner granting liberty to revive the same within sixty days for any surviving cause of action. ( M.S.Sahoo) Judge Gs
