Learned counsel for Petitioners made an allegation that in spite of completion of work assigned to the Petitioners in the matter of construction of 302 number of toilets in rural area involved herein with investment of a sum of Rs.36,24,000/- and in spite of verification of the bills by the competent authority submitted to that effect, there is no release of the balance amount. 2.

Be that as it may, since the Petitioners have already made an application on the selfsame issue vide Annexure-2, which is claimed to be pending before the Opposite Party Nos.3 & 4 as yet, this Court directs the Opposite Party Nos.3 & 4 to look into the request of the Petitioners involved herein and do the needful by completing the entire exercise within a period of one & half months from the date of communication of a certificated copy of this order along with a copy of the brief by the Petitioners.

It is further directed that in the event there is no disposal of such aspect within the time stipulated hereinabove, the Petitioners may be entitled to interest on the balance amount, if any, at the rate 7% per annum, which will be recovered from the assigned authority. 4.
