This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.2961 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No.2961 of 2016.

It is contended by the Petitioner, who as Senior Teacher Educator and in-charge Principal of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Remuna in the district of Balasore belonging to the cadre of DIET and OES-1(SB) Officers, sought for filling up of the vacant post of Principal as is available for Senior Teacher Educators.

Mr. A.K. Chhatoi, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he has no up-to-date instruction in the matter. 5.

Mr. R.N. Acharya, learned Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education appearing for Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 as well as Mr. R.K. Bisoi, learned counsel appearing for Opposite Party Nos.3 and 4 submitted that the matter has been rendered infructuous by efflux of time.
