1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode. Order No.

The Petitioner has sought for transfer of MAT Case No.260 of 2018 from the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Talcher to the court of Judge, Family Court, Angul on the ground that the distance between the two courts is 35 kms. and if she appears there to look after her case, her life will be at risk. However, no material is produced to substantiate such apprehension.

3. Heard.

4. Considering the fact that the courts at Talcher and Angul are situated within the close proximity to each other and the distance between the two courts is not too far and it takes less than an hour to cover the distance in a motor vehicle, the prayer made in her petition seeking transfer of the aforesaid case on

// 2 // the ground of inconvenience caused to the petitioner-wife in travelling to the court concerned to look after her case is devoid of merit.

5. Accordingly, the TRP (C) stands dismissed at the stage of admission.

6. As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-10 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout copy of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 & 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
