This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioners are in custody since 22.10.2021 in connection with Narasinghpur P.S. Case No. 192 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 304 of 2021 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Narsinghpur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 147/ 148/ 189/342/448/294/323/325/427/332/333/353/186/ 307/149 of IPC.

The allegation is that the petitioners along with a group of more than two hundred persons entered into the Police Station at Narasinghpur and after locking it from outside ransacked the Police Station as also severely assaulted the IIC and staffs, as a result of which they sustained bodily injuries.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the

injuries sustained by the injured persons, are simple in nature and there was no intention on the part of the petitioners to kill them. 6.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel has opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the petitioners have several criminal antecedents and in any case they have committed crime against public servants.

Considering the rival submissions, the materials on record and the fact that the petitioners have taken law into their own hands and attempted to ransack the Police Station as also assaulted Police Officers, who were on duty, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected. It is open the petitioners to renew their prayer for bail after submission of charge sheet. 8.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
