This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.
The Original Application No.3350(C) of 2014 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OAC) No.3350 of 2014. 3.
The Petitioner has prayed to quash the advertisement No.03 of 2014-15 vide Annexure-3 in connection with recruitment to the post of Odisha Education Service-II (School Branch), Group-B so far as the age relaxation. The Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) quash impugned Advertisement No.3 of 2014-15 of OPSC, Respondent No. 1 under Annexue-3 so far as the age relaxation is concerned by concurrently holding the same as bad, illegal and not sustainable and/or maintainable in the eye of law;
(ii) direct/order the Respondents to allow the applicant to submit his application for the post of OES-
// 2 // II and allow him to appear in the said Examination in the interest of justice.
(iii) pass such other order(s) or issue direction(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bona fide interest of justice."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous. 5.
In such view of the matter, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
