CRLMP No.2294 of 2022 Jyotshna Das ....

Petitioner Mr. P.C. Jena, Advocate.

Opp. Parties Mr. S.N. Das, Additional Standing Counsel.

CORAM:

DR. JUSTICE S.K. PANIGRAHI

ORDER

30.11.2022 5.

Order No.

1.

This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement. 2.

Heard Mr. P.C. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.N. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

Pursuant to order dated 29.11.2022, Mr. Sandeep Sampat Madkar, Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara and the I.I.C., Talchua Marine Police Station appear in person before this Court through Video Conferencing Mode today. 4.

In this CRLMP, the petitioner challenges the inaction of the police in registering his complaint as F.I.R. 5.

It is seen that so many cases of non-registration of the F.I.R. are coming from the district of Kendrapara to this Court. It is imperative that the police officers need to be sensitive towards the problems of common men, who are

// 2 // approaching the Police Station with some complaints. 6.

The Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara is directed to sensitize his subordinate police officers regarding the registration of F.I.Rs. in the light of Lalita Kumari -vrs.- Govt. of U.P. & Others1.

7.

It is stated that the F.I.R. has already been registered in the present case, which gives rise to cessation of the grievance of the petitioner.

8.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

9.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.

10.

Personal appearance of the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara and the I.I.C., Talchua Marine Police Station is dispensed with.
