1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The present case has been transferred to this Court after abolition of Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack.

3. The petitioner is working as an Assistant Teacher in the Railway Settlement High School, Cuttack. He has challenged the promotion of one Bhanumati Acharya, who has been selected for the post of Senior S.E.S. ignoring the present petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the matter pertaining to 2014 and such promotion has already been effected, hence, no cause of action survives. The learned Counsel for the School and Mass Education Department also is in sync with the said statement.

4. In view of the above, the WPC (OAC) is disposed of as infructuous.
