This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner, by means of this petition, has urged the following reliefs:

(a) to direct the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate into the death of one Sarada Prasad Nayak and submit a report and, (b) to direct the respondents No.6 and 7 to initiate appropriate action against all the erring police officials who shielded the culprits relating to murder of Sarada Prasad Nayak.

According to the Orissa High Court Rules, this petition cannot be treated as W.P. (CRL). The Registry has reported that the petitioner was required to file the CRLMP not W.P. (CRL). On consideration of the above aspect and on taking a liberal approach, we convert this W.P. (CRL) to CRLMP.
