This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.17 (S) of 2012 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Circuit Bench, Sambalpur. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OAS) No.17 of 2012. 3.

None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. 4.

The case of the Petitioner is that she has not been considered for promotion to the post of Sub-Asst. Jailor whereas other juniors have been promoted. The Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "7. xx xx xx xx xx i. To quash the Govt. Notification dtd. 15.5.10 published in Odisha Gazetyteee extra-ordinary dtd. 19.5.10 with a direction to spread over the vacancy of Sub-Asst. Jailors to the respective years of vacancy and consider case of the applicant and others for promotion to the cadre of Sub-Asst. Jailor accordingly as per Govt. Resolution No. 45363/27.10.2006.

// 2 // ii. To kindly pass orders directing Respondents to promote the applicant to the post of Sub-Jailor from the date of Junior warder have been promoted vide order dtd. 19.6.10 of Respondent No. 2 with all service and financial benefits.

iii. To kindly allow any other consequential relief (s) that the Hon'ble Tribunal may consider fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Since the matter is pending since 2012, no fruitful purpose would be served by granting adjournment. The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to revive the same within 90 days from today, if any cause of action still survives. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
