Heard Mr. D.N. Rath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department.

The petitioner has filed this application seeking direction to the opposite parties to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Assistant Teacher (Hindi) and to release the salary component as has been extended in favour of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution.

Since the petitioner has approached this Court claiming the benefits under Section 24-B of the Orissa Education Act and Rules framed thereunder, this writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if he is so advised.
