This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard Mr. J. Biswal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. S.D.Routray, learned counsel for Petitioner and Mr. M.K.Balabantaray, learned Standing Counsel for the StateOpposite Parties. 3.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Admit the original application.

(ii) Call for the records.

(iii) After hearing the parties direct the respondents to consider the case of the applicant for the post of TGT (Arts) Teacher against the SEBC category and the respondents be further directed to issue engagement order in favour of the applicant against the vacant post of TGT (Arts) in the district of Ganjam.

(iv) And may pass any other order / orders as this Hon'ble Tribunal may deem fit and proper in the eye of law".

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that even though the Petitioner's name was reflected in the final merit list but he was not provided with the appointment. Accordingly, the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submitted that as on date there are available vacancies to be filled up in the district of Ganjam in respect of T.G.T (Arts). 6.

In view of such submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed with a liberty to the Petitioner to make an application before the Opposite Party No.4 in that regard, if any such application is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the Opposite Party No.4 shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of two months. It is however, observed that while taking such a decision, the stand taken by the Petitioner that there are vacancies available at present, be taken into consideration. 7.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
