This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode. 2.

Heard Mr. M.K. Mohapatro, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.

S.K.

Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Mohapatro, the petitioners are aggrieved by the non-disposal of their application filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 styled as L.A. Misc. Case No. 25 of 2015 arising out of L.A.C. No. 19 of 2010 pending before the Zone Officer, Upper Indravati Irrigation Project, Kusumkhunti (opposite party No.2) under Annexure2. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the opposite party No.2 to dispose of the said case expeditiously.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.2 to dispose of the L.A. Misc. Case No. 25 of 2015 arising out of L.A.C. No. 19 of 2010 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner no.1 who in turn

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of. 6.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No. 4587, dated 25th march, 2020, modified by Notice No. 4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide memo Nos. 514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
