This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ application with the following prayer:

" Therefore, it is prayed that the writ petition may be admitted, the records may be called for and after hearing the parties the same may be allowed;

BY Directing the Opposite Party to forthwith release the Petitioner's family pension dues including arrears and interest thereon;

A N D Granting any other relief(s) as found fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;

In course of hearing of the writ application, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has submitted application for grant of Family Pension since 11.10.2021, but till date there has been no response from the side of the Opposite Party. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the application for family pension of the Petitioner is kept unattended to

// 2 // for almost one year. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party to consider the case of the Petitioner for grant of family pension. 5.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party to consider the application for grant of family pension of the Petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. In the event it is found that the Petitioner is eligible to get family pension, the same shall be released in her favour within four weeks from the date of consideration of the application for family pension of the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.
