This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Order No 2.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State- Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "(i) For declaration that the applicant is eligible to the benefit under time bound advancement scheme w.e.f. 15.12.99.

(ii) For a direction to the Opp. Parties to fix the time bound advancement scale of pay w.e.f. 15/12/99 as per Rule 74(b) of Orissa Service Code and to disburse the same".

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Petitioner is directed to make fresh representation before the Opposite Party No.2 by enclosing all the relevant documents and citations in support of his claim, if any, within a period of two (2) weeks hence.

It is observed that if such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the Opposite Party No.2 shall

// 2 // do well to dispose of the representation in accordance with law within a period of 2 (two) months. The decision so taken by the Opposite Party No.2 be communicated to the Petitioner within that time.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
