01.
1.
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the Chief Administrator, Jagannath Temple Management, Puri-Opposite Party No.4 for settling the land in question in favour of the Petitioner. 2.
Undisputedly the land in question belongs to Lord Jagannath. Petitioner claims such settlement on the basis of his long possession of the said property.

Considering that on the same selfsame issue the Petitioner has already made a representation in the year 2019 and since in the meantime almost two & half years have already passed, this Court instead of issuing direction for disposal of such representation, permits the Petitioner to make a fresh application disclosing the offer price for the said land at least based on benchmark price prevailed in 2019 the year of such intention also along with enclosing 20% of the offer price by way of F.D. to the Chief Administrator, Jagannath Temple Management, Puri. It is further directed that if the Petitioner makes
// 2 // such application along with appropriate deposit within a period of fifteen days hence, the Chief Administrator, Jagannath Temploe Management, Puri shall do well in taking a lawful decision on the same, but however, keeping in view the fact that whether the land in question is essential to be kept reserved for Lord Jagannath or not. 4.
