Heard Mr. S.K. Nath, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to grant service and financial benefits as untrained regular Teacher w.e.f. 16.12.2012 just after completion of six years of service till regular appointment is made on 20.02.2015, in view of the benefit given to other similarly situated Teachers of other districts as at Annexures-6 and 7, by quashing the order dated 20.01.2017 passed by opposite party no.3.

Mr. S.K. Nath, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the case of the petitioner is covered by the ratio decided by this Court in Mukunda Dehury v. State of Orissa (WPC (OAC) No.623 of 2018, disposed of on 09.12.2021), therefore, direction may be issued to consider
the case of the petitioner in the light of the said judgment. 5.
In view of the above, the order dated 20.01.2017 passed by opposite party no.3 is hereby quashed. Accordingly, opposite parties are directed to grant service and financial benefits to the petitioner, as has been granted to other similarly situated persons in other districts, in terms of the order 09.12.2021 passed by this Court in Mukunda Dehury (supra), within a period of four months from the date of communication/production of certified copy of this order. 6.
With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
