The Petitioner seeks direction to the Opposite Parties to regularize the service of the Petitioner with effect from the date of her initial appointment on ad hoc basis.

Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Cousnel for School & Mass Education Department contended that in view of the judgment of the apex Court in the case of Rashi Mani Mishra v. State of Uttar Pradesh, 2021 SCC OnLine SC 509 and State of Maharashtra and Others v. Anita and another, (2016) 8 SCC 293, the ad hoc period will not be taken into consideration for calculating the benefits to the Petitioner. 5.
In view of the above, the claim made by the petitioner being not in consonance with law, the same cannot sustain. 6.
