This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of Regulation Case No.12 of 2017 stated to be pending before the Sub-Collector, Bonai-Opposite Party No.2. 3.
Mr. Sahu, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that although the matter is otherwise ready for hearing and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the aforesaid regulation case, the Sub-Collector, Bonai is not taking any step for disposal of the same in accordance with law. Hence, he prays for a direction to the Sub-Collector, Bonai for disposal of the aforesaid regulation case at an early date.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that he has no instruction with regard to the status of the regulation case stated to be pending before the Sub-Collector, Boani. However, if the aforesaid regulation case is still pending, a direction may be made for early disposal of the same in accordance with law.

Taking into consideration the averments made in the writ petition as well as submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files an application for early disposal of Regulation Case No.12 of 2017 stating the grounds therein within a period of two weeks hence along with certified copy of this order, the Sub-Collector, Bonai-Opposite Party No.2 shall do well to consider the same and make an endeavour for early disposal of Regulation Case No.12 of 2017 stated to be pending before him in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months therefrom giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, if the matter is otherwise ready and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the same. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
