Heard Mr. S. Mahunta, learned counsel for the petitioner. He contended that the case of the petitioner is covered by the ratio decided by this Court in Bibhuti Bhusan Patnaik v. State of Odisha, 2017 (II) ILR-CUT-896. Therefore, direction may be issued to the authority to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of said judgment.

In that view of the matter, the decision taken on 25.11.2016, so far it relates to the petitioner under Annexure-7, is quashed and the matter is remitted to the authority concerned for rehearing and reconsidering the case of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production/communication of this order. 4.

With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
