1. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.

2. By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks grant of bail U/s.438 Cr.P.C. in apprehension of arrest for his alleged involvement in the offences U/s. 457/380/34, I.P.C. in connection with Montage P.S. Case No.219 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1245 of 2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Dhenkanal.

3. Learned counsel for the State, on instruction, submits that the present Petitioner is having 14 numbers of criminal antecedents of similar nature standing to his credit.

4. In view of the number of antecedents standing against the Petitioner and also considering the nature and gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to admit the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected and the ABLAPL stands dismissed.
