This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel. Perused records. 3.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer for a direction to the authority-Opposite Party No.2 to finalise the proceeding bearing D.P.No.7414 dated 01.11.2018 under Annexure-1 taking into consideration the enquiry report as well as the order passed by the Orissa Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.1968 of 2019 (Annexure-4) disposed of on 12.03.2019 within a stipulated period of time.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that a proceeding was initiated in the year 2018 against the Petitioner. Since the same was pending, the Petitioner approached the Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar by filing O.A.No.1968 of 2019. The Tribunal after considering the grievance of the Petitioner

// 2 // by order dated 08.07.2019 directed the Disciplinary Authority to conclude the Disciplinary Proceeding within a period of six months. However, it is alleged by the Petitioner that till today the proceeding has not been concluded. In the aforesaid background he has approached this court for a direction to conclude the proceeding within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the contentions raised by the learned counsel for the respective parties, this Court disposes of the writ application at the stage of admission without expressing any merits of the matter by directing the Opposite Party no.2 to conclude the D.P.No.7414 dated 01.11.2018 under Annexure-1 within a period of three months from today positively and communicate the final order to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
