This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to sanction and release the pension and other financial benefits taking into account Rule-8 of ORSP Rules, 1989 and judgment of this Court in the case of State of Odisha v. Madhabananda Pradhan, W.P.(C) No. 1043 of 2017 disposed of on 13.04.2017, within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party no.4 vide Annexure-15 and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time taking into consideration Annexure-16, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 4.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the opposite party no.4 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-15, taking into consideration Annexure-16, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
