This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking promotion to the post of OAS-I. However, it is seen from the record that Petitioner was aged about 56 years at the time of filing the Original Application, therefore it is presumed that he must have been retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. 4.
