Heard Mr.A.K.Moharana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Nanda, learned Addl.

Government Advocate.

According to Mr.Moharana the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in leasing out or settling him a piece of land situated on Plot No. 332/1881 pertaining to Khata No. 619 of Mouza Chandrasekharpur under Bhubaneswar Tahasil in the district of Khurda.

Mr.Nanda, learned Addl. Government Advocate submits that in view of the new Rule which came into force during 2020 styled as "Rules for settlement of Government land situated within the limits of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area" the petitioner should file fresh application for lease or alienation of Government land in the prescribed form appended to such Rules.

In such background, Mr.Moharana wants to withdraw the writ petition as he wants to approach the appropriate authority for redressal of the grievances of the petitioner as per law. 5.

Considering such submissions, the writ petition is
