Heard Mr. P. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the Superintending engineer RW Division-II, Kendrapara to consider his application and take a decision thereon within a stipulated period.

Mr. P. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is a Diploma Engineer and, as such, departmental work will be done through him as per the provisions of OPWD Code. Therefore, he filed representation before the Superintending Engineer allowing him to execute the departmental work, but till date no action has been taken thereon.

This Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his remedy before the authority in terms of the conditions stipulated in the OPWD Code.

With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
