This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
RJ The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 29th November, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned State Administrative Tribunal upon its abolition.
On perusal of the order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is found that the matter was never taken up after 09.05.2014. The original applicant had prayed for a direction before the Tribunal to enhance the age of superannuation to 65 years. As the applicant had retired while in service on 31.08.2012 on attaining the age of 58 years, which was the age of superannuation for Readers in Government Colleges at the relevant time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by efflux of time, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of having become infructuous.
